This personality type are suited to the teaching profession though the first profession - career that this personality type is suited too is counselling/psychology. I have always been interested in this type of profession though have not yet in my life persued it. Who knows what the future may hold for me in regards to where I will go with my career. There are other professions that this personality type would be suited too though they are the top three choices.
Also from this survey it revealed to me that I am a global learner and that I see the big picture. This I find interesting.
So what are the strengths to this personality type as an educator:
- able to effortlessly craft imaginative and fascinating learning experiences for students to engage in.
- the ability to see the student's potential with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to enhance their self confidence in their own ability.
How can knowledge of temperament types be valuable to the educator in the classroom?
Knowledge of temperament types in the educational context is an important step for the educator to finding out personality traits of your learners. Presently, educators combine groups in an experimental manner. I believe by completing a humanmetrics questionnaire that anguish, frustration and rising issues between people would be significantly minimised. Therefore, by allowing students to complete this type of questionnaire it assists the educator to working out which personality types are to be grouped together.
Rambling Rose.

One of the keys to engaging fully in life is to understand who we are and how we do things. With this information we are able to design experiences within our life that are meaningful to us. If we as educators understand ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, then we are able to taylor our individual life experiences, ensuring our journey is enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteIf the learning manager is happy and content within themself they have the innate ability to provide peace for others around them. Within the learning environment, this means that colleagues and students pick up on calm demeanour and are more relaxed within themselves.
The next level of this equation is to ensure we know our learners and the learners know themselves. This tool is one of the most important when getting to know our class at the beginning of the year. Dimensions of Learning provide a platform for positive learning within DoL 1 & 5. To me, these two seem to be the most important of all the DoL's. With positive learning environment and an understanding within themself, the student has an excellent base to work from, is open to new ways of learning with the possible for the learning manager to open new doors for the student.
