Week 1 Entry
In the e-learning tute, the task was to create a blog of our own. Before a blog could be created at google the first step was to create an account. The place on internet to create an account to start blogging is at www.google.com.au
After an account was established with Google you are able to create a Blog with Google. For those of you who are new of the internet world Google is a search engine that allows you to search the Wide World Web for information with relative ease. There are many other types of search engines but Google would have to be one of the most popular search engines around in the internet world. In today’s tute we were to follow three to four people’s blogs.

What the tool is?
A Blog is a place of your own where you can go to type in your thoughts about a topic…it allows people to view the comment that you post and it allows people to post comments as well. This interaction by others to post a comment on your Blog is optional. However, if you do not allow the interaction to occur be prepared that your blog will not be very popular. The blog created on Google is the property of Google, so any content posted on the site also belongs to Google. Blogs are used by many people to make money, if you know how to use blogs for profit, then they can be a very good source of income. A blog is a useful means of communicating with others and a good way to keep your email list informed of new material on your website that could be useful to them.
What a blogs used for?
To market your site and your products, but also to keep in touch with what is happening on your website. A blog can be the main tool you use to advertise your site, and you will no longer have to pay for advertising or other means of driving traffic to your site. A blog can do that job very well.
