Movie Maker
During the e-learning tutorial this week, I learned how to make a movie using still pictures and adding voice to the images. The extra tools required to make this possible was a camera, and voice recorder that is easily plugged into a computer through the USB connection. I could enjoy my time immensely experimenting with all the different features of this program if time was no barrier.
This program may be used in many different and interesting ways in the classroom. For example: It could be used to present a topic studied or as an alternative manner for the student to be assessed by the educator. This form of assessment has the possibility of authenticity and has the potential for the educator to create engaging, inspiring and imaginative assessment tasks which fosters a creative flair within the student. This program also has the potential for students to create a master piece that could be utilised as a screening to promote the school to the wider community while allowing the abilities of the student to shine.
